It's Just a Matter of Time....Before We Get a Chipotle

and most of you think it will be at Roosevelt Collection:

I seriously doubt Chipotle (a one time McDonalds's subsidiary) will set up shop in this location.

I hope they don't open one there. I hate walking down to the Roosevelt Collection area. It's not pedestrian friendly with the narrow side walks that lead up to the place. It's like walking down Golf Road in Schaumburg by Woodfield. If you have a car, it's fine. I think they need to widen those side walks to the same width as the ones in Wabash between Congress and Roosevelt.

I gotta agree with the previous post regarding the unintuitive, pedestrian UNfriendly entrance to the Roosevelt Collection. If this development were not getting a cinemaplex, I can safely say that I'd probably never go there for anything.

I find the sidewalk on Clark that connects to Roosevelt (with Target on that corner) to be very unsafe. There should be a railing or something between the narrow walkway and the southbound traffic. Increased foot traffic will only make this worse.

I think anything going into the Roosevelt Collection is a plus for the South Loop. We need that place to flourish to help our property values. Regardless, the sidewalks are what they are, they have plenty of parking. Lets be positive and support whatever new business' come our way. Just walked by the development today. It really looks nice, and they've taken down half of the fencing out front. The views are stunning, definitely not Schaumburg. I for one am excited.

I agree with the last comment. In a neighborhood full of empty storefronts, almost anything should be welcomed and embraced (just not another dry cleaner, pet store, or dental office please!).
