"solo" is short for south loop.

solo is lame. it doesn't remove any syllables to make "south loop" shorter. Sloop is the best i've heard and fits the character much better. Plus it reminds me of the south loop club, one of the best bars in town.

bravo on "sloop"

Don't like sloop, the word portrays sloppy, unpleasant. SoLo is better like Soho, south of the loop, south of houston. Anyway do we need an abbreviation?
