I was riding my bike this morning and ran into some movers at 2333 so. Michigan. The owner came out and said they expect to open a Mexican cafe restaurant in August.As we like to say, filled retail space is better than vacant retail space. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Name of the place is called Calis. They started to bring in nicer tables and took down those ridiculous signs in the photo. I hope they put some money into the place as it could become a huge neighborhood spot if it has a nice environment. They want to take advantage of folks coming to Broad Shoulders Brewing next door, as well as guests coming to Fearless Radio and the residents.. looking forward to it.

Stumbled across it on my way to Mercy hospital. Found out their tacos are great.
