It's not a Banksy unfortunately.

Ahhh. The beautiful South Loop landscape. Boarded-up, dilapidated, abandoned buildings. Too bad you couldn't capture the flashing blue light police camera at that corner, or the bum sitting outside bongo room begging for change, or the jaywalkers running into traffic from #12 bus into the eL station, etc.

I see what you did there, but there's no police camera at that corner. Nice try though

what else would you expect when you live in SoLo cup?

There is a Banksy at the Redline entrance on Polk...

Really? Big Banksy fan here. Does anybody have a picture of the one on Polk?

Maybe this one's a Mr. Brainwash.

Um, yes there is a police camera at that corner. Flashing bright blue in all its glory on a pole on the northeast corner of Roosevelt and Wabash. Probably directly over the head of the person taking that picture!

You will have a sad life if you expect Chicago to ever transform in to a Mayberry USA. I hear Ann Arbor Michigan is a really quaint college town.

they just installed a blue light police camera at the corner where Trader Joe's is opening

If you walk by this building at night, you can see the rats going in and out of it. And it even smells of rat.

I have complained several times, nothing is done from what I can tell.

The picture was taken on a good day, usually it is covered in graffiti and stickers.

It's Banksy, not MBW. If you go to the Banksy info site, under Chicago you will see photo. It's the rat with boom box.

I hope this space becomes a neighborhood bakery or coffee shop when Trader Joe's comes up. I'm sick of seeing it abandoned like that.

You know, the bum begging for change has been a long time resident of the neighborhood and hasn't hurt anyone, so less complaints about neighbors! (on the other hand, those rats need to be fumigated. Also agree with the bakery comment, that would be amazing!)
