Issues With Old Post Office Sale

If you missed it earlier this week, Bill Davies, the man who won the auction for the building of the Old Chicago Post Office, did not close on the deal. Although the deal is not dead:
A statement from the company Davies is using for his bid cited disagreement with the seller over "certain key issues" and said it "decided to postpone its acquisition."
This property has had many issues with development and it looks like the saga will continue.

This project, just like many other high-profile, big-ticket projects, all went bust as of 10 am last Friday when Chicago got "kicked in the nuts" on the world stage. Expect more big projects to linger for a long time now.
