One Man Shot, Another Suspected of Sexual Assault it Two Separate Saturday Morning Events in the South Loop

A 26-year-old man was shot to death inside a Hyatt Regency hotel at McCormick Place in the South Loop neighborhood early Saturday morning, police said. 
About 2:20 a.m., the man was in a group of several men during a birthday party in the lobby of the hotel, at 2233 S. King Drive, when a male attacker pulled out a gun and fired shots, police said.

Double yikes (via Chicago Tribune):
A 33-year-old man is accused of molesting a girl on a CTA platform Friday morning in the South Loop, police said.  
Travis Smith, 33, of the 500 block of West 14th Place, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, police said.  
Smith is slated to appear for a bond hearing Saturday at the Leighton Criminal Court Building. Smith was arrested in the first block of East Roosevelt Road about 8:20 a.m. after he was identified as the person who grabbed a girl’s breast on the CTA platform, police said.
