Old School Sloop on Display in "City of Superlatives" Video

A good watch with parts showcasing how the Sloop looked was back in the 1930s (via WBEZ). Some good Shots Around the Sloop at the 1:00 mark:

(Hat tip: Curbed Chicago!)

Guys - are you sure that's the south loop because it looks kind of like it with Soldier Field and the Field Museum but I don't see the rest of the buildings guys?

Guys, I don't see Central Station, the tall glass buildings on Roosevelt guys, Burger Point, or even the new traffic light guys.

Great video though and I like the antiqued black and white effect. Very good guys!

Burger Point is there. It's right next to Colosimo's.

Guys, what is Colosimos guys?

I'm still not sure this the S. Loop. Where are "the projects" gusy? It was supposedly the great depression guys so I think they would have already had the projects for the homeless guys.

What the hell is the matter with all these comments?

Anyway, great footage. Love seeing old school Chicago especially the skyline view from Shedd.
