Wasn't all this already covered with the 250 people at the PDNA Meeting last night?

So did anyone attend this meeting? I'm curious about the reasons for creating access to LSD at 15th/16th (really close to Roosevelt so doesn't seem as beneficial) instead of 18th (as originally planned).

Any news from this meeting? I was hoping to see updated renders of the British School.

Im sure the same twelve NIMBY redasses that have terrorized the community with their BS were there yelling and screaming about a park they are never going to use in the first place

No new renderings on British School, same ones presented March 5th (see more recent Sloopin' post for photos).

I'd like to know more about this LSD proposal... Anyone got the scoop?

I love the consistent bashing of "NIMBY's" by suburbs transplants turned urban Jedi's.

I didn't attend the meeting, but just a guess that maybe the reason it was moved up to 15th/16th is because it's being paid for by Central Station rather than the city. That's what I took out of the dnainfo.com link posted earlier.

Chris it's also about a fear of property values going down. I assume you rent ?

Chris said...

own, State and Archer

Property values will not go down...

Anonymous said...

Well not for you but perhaps for the people living right next to the proposed construction .

Chris said...

if you dont enjoy fluxuating prop values aand/or construction then why do you live down town??

geez

Central Station is not paying for a dime of this, if it goes. They expect to take money from the Near South TIF fund.
