The place is really cute, and I'm sure the rest of the food is fine, but the croissant was inedible. Greasy, but not with butter; it tasted like a sponge soaked in Crisco or something. I didn't taste the cookies, but they looked grey and ancient. I'd suggest they get a new bakery supplier, or, gasp, bake their own pastries.
Love seeing new food options in the 'hood, but earlier in the week I saw on Everyblock that they failed part of a food inspection. Anyone know if it is a major part of the inspection or should I wait to visit the cafe?
is it a place to bring a laptop and get work done? do they have wifi?
i popped in and grabbed their tomato and roasted red pepper soup. really really tasty - highly recommend.

tonight we had the bbq pork bahn mi sandwich and the cuban panini. both were very tasty. the chips and salsa were so-so. the gelato was very good.

The place was absolutely amazing. One of the best gyros sandwiches I've ever had. Great service, great food and great value. I also had an fantastic expresso and their homemade chocolate chip cookies were to die for. I can't wait to go again. You guys rock!
