Represent the Sloop in the Time Out Chicago Eat Out Awards

The South Loop has some good representation in this year's Time Out Chicago "Eat Out Awards". With that said, show some love our your local businesses and give them a vote (link here):
  • Acadia (1639 S. Wabash) - Best New Restaurant Cocktails
  • The Scout (1301 S. Wabash) - Best New Sports Bar
  • Waffles (1400 S. Michigan) - Best New Breakfast
  • Burger Point (1900 S. State) - Best New Burger Joint
  • Bodega No. 5 (638 S. Michigan) - Cheap Eatery of the Year
  • Lao Hunan (2230 S. Wentworth) - Cheap Eater of the Year and Best New BYOB

And if we can swing your vote beyond the South Loop, vote for Barrelhouse Flat for Best New Bar!

(Hat tip: ND!)

Can I vote for that new Italian restaurant that opened up in the old Grace O'Malley's spot?

I didn't see a category for best high five location. All I know is I voted for the scout wherever possible.

What's your problem, Anon? You want an Italian restaurant, OPEN ONE. Rumors are rumors.

I will forever cast my vote for Cuattro on Wabash!!!

Bring back Cuattro!!!

I loved Cuatro also, but they did themselves in by allowing the wrong crowd to party after 10pm.

darn I was really hoping the 28 days streak of some old whiney grandma complaining about the Scout would have stayed alive.

Im pretty sure on most days you can find these usuless liberals chatting it up at overflow coffee bar

Umm... what exactly does political liberalism have to do with these Time Out awards, some "grandma," or even the Scout?
