British School is a Go; Construction Planned for February

Rendering of new school (via DNA Info)
There has been a lot of back and forth on the proposed British School of Chicago coming to the South Loop.  Last we heard, it was getting delayed because of a merger.

Anyway, apparently everything has been finalized and this project is a go:
Nord Anglia Education is delighted to announce the opening of the British School of Chicago’s new campus in Chicago’s South Loop.
The custom-built South Loop campus is scheduled to open at 161 W. 9th St. in September, 2015 and will serve more than 1000 Preschool to Grade 12 students, with a strong focus on Middle and High School education. The new school will complement the existing British School of Chicago campus in Lincoln Park which will serve students from Preschool to the end of their Middle School education.

But if you're like us, you won't believe it until you see it.  So that's supposed to begin soon according to the press release:
The development of the new campus is intended to commence with a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by Chicago-based developer McCaffery Interests, Inc. at the Roosevelt Collection, 150 W. Roosevelt Rd., in February 2014.
