Rees House Move Delayed, but Prep Work Continues

A reader writes:
My balcony faces south on 21st so I have a great view of The Rees House movement. When I got home today it looks like the coach house is up on beams and getting ready to be moved.
While the house is up, it sounds like the actual move is delayed based on a post we read on Curbed Chicago yesterday:
Alright, so the landmark Harriet Rees House has not been moved yet, but McCormick Place reps have confirmed that the expected move date will be sometime in late October or early November. A previous timeline had anticipated that the 126 year old mansion would be loaded up on a huge 29-wheel dolly and transplanted to its new home at 2017 S. Prairie Ave. last month. However, the move has been delayed, and the timeline has been updated. According to contractors Bulley & Andrews, the Rees House will be prepped for its move this week, and then next week, the foundations at its new location will be installed.
For some background on this here is an old Sloopin post.
