Free Healthcare Seminar at East-West University on Jan 21st

One of the great things about living so close to a variety of universities and colleges is that they often have free seminars.  Couple that with the ability to check out a new building in the South Loop and it sounds like you could have a good night.

With that said, East-West University is have a free seminar on January 21st in their new auditorium:
Author and physician Dr. David Ansell will present a lecture titled “From County to Congress: The unfinished business of health reform” on Jan. 21 at 6:00 p.m. at East-West University’s new Riaz H. Waraich Auditorium at 829 S. Wabash Ave.
Dr. Ansell’s research interests include access to health care, health disparity reduction, quality and patient safety and he has lectured widely on these subjects. Dr. Ansell has recently published a book based upon his experiences at Cook County Hospital entitled, “County: Life, Death and Politics at Chicago’s Public Hospital.

If healthcare isn't your thing at least you'll have to opportunity to see East-West's brand spanking new building.
