British School Merger Won't Affect Public Park

DNAinfo has a good update on the proposed British School building (slated for the vacant area north of Roosevelt Collection).  Apparently the public space won't change at all despite the merger of two international teaching organizations.

Of more interest, the plan is to move forward with construction relatively soon:
The new timeline calls for construction to start in early 2014, though McCaffrey hasn't set a date, anticipating the possible need to circle back with the city for new zoning approvals.
If all goes as planned, the first school year will kick off in fall 2015.
News to us.  We were skeptical that this would be delayed even longer.

For more background on the merger here is an old post we did.
