Lights On at Old Orange Restaurant on Harrison?

A reader recently noticed some activity at the old Orange restaurant (75 W. Harrison) and wondered if we knew anything. This is the first we've heard, but does anyone else know what's up?
Hey there Sloopin-

Just walked by the old Orange space on Harrison, between Clark and Dearborn, and all the lights were on and it looks like some demo had been done. Any idea of what might be coming? Here are some pics.

Cheers.

  1. Another place being worked on a few nights ago was the old A2Z Dental/Chiropractor office on 16th and Michigan. No idea what's going on there. It looked like they were sprucing up the waiting area, so maybe another medical office...

Also noticed Flavor 180 has the paper down from their windows. Looks like a counter order and sit down type place. Around 10-15 tables I'd guess. I was across the street when I walked by, so I didn't get a good look.

  2. Why did this Orange shutdown? It always seemed so busy on the weekends. I heard it had a pest problem.

Of course its that type of restaurant just look at the name!!!! The name sounds bland, unimaginative, and boring. This is so disapointing after learning his background this is the type of restaurant he produces. I kind of expected more from him.

  4. I think "that type of restaurant" is exactly when this neighborhood needs! Our only fast food options currently are Subway and Jimmy Johns. The menu certainly looks original. Until Chipotle opens in the neighborhood, I think I will be making lots of stops at Flavor 180!

  5. Um, guess we aren't talking about the space in question anymore?

  6. If another restaurant opens here - please, please, please serve lunch AND dinner too. Otherwise it's just another dark, empty, lifeless space at night. Boooo....
