How to Help Haiti in the Sloop

The devastation in Haiti is heart breaking. Besides donating money or eating at restaurants around the city, there are other ways to help. Today we read that House of Sole (1237 S. Michigan) will be participating in a shoe drive that helps victims in Haiti:
Nashville-based Soles4Soles is expanding its regular SHOE DRIVE FOR THE NEEDY to meet its goal of providing one million pairs of shoes and boots to those in Haiti. Clean out your closet and then head to the South Loop's House of Sole to drop off your gently-used footwear for the drive. With all that space in your closet, you can buy a new pair while you're there. 1237 S. Michigan Ave., (312) 834-0909, www.houseofsole.net.
