I am waiting to see the full list of events that the city will cancel... this should be a long one. [sadface]
Yeah, the whole movies in the park program got cut and several of the music fests have been subjected to trimming. More will surely follow.Call me crazy but all these cuts seem like peanuts in relation to the (so far untouched) excessive City admin and middle-middle management positions.
I'm all for dumping this event. Anything that keeps spoiled white rich people out of this neighborhood is a great thing IMO.
This is a pretty pointless and vacuous event. It's not like it celebrates any type of indigenous culture or anything. I don't find anything entertaining or aspirational about it, nor do I see it contributing to the local economy in any unique way.
